The Friends of Great Dixter

Before he died in 2006, Christopher Lloyd launched the Friends of Great Dixter.

As a Friend of Great Dixter you will help secure the estate in perpetuity for the benefit of everyone who has a love of plants, gardens and dynamic, exciting planting. Be part of a growing number of like-minded individuals who wish to see Great Dixter continue as a place where people can meet, exchange thoughts and share ideas.

Friends enjoy free entry to the house and garden, they are invited to special events each year and receive regular newsletters keeping them up to date with news at Dixter and how plans are progressing. See an example newsletter here

Friends are asked to make a regular donation of £6 a month or £70 a year. If you can give more we will be very grateful.

There are many ways to give:

To donate by cheque, credit card, standing order or electronic transfer, simply download a Friends joining form here, print it off, complete the relevant details and send it with your donation to The Friends of Great Dixter, Great Dixter House and Gardens, Northiam, Rye TN31 6PH. Please make cheques payable to ‘The Great Dixter Charitable Trust’.

If you wish to make a secure online donation, you can do so through our partners Justgiving.com at www.justgiving.com/greatdixter/donate/

If you are a UK taxpayer, please don’t forget to Gift Aid your donation. Find out more about Gift Aid here

“With the support of the Friends of Great Dixter, we will be able to secure the Estate for the future. My hope is that future generations will share in the dynamic and exciting spirit that is Great Dixter today.”
