This calendar is a little fundraiser for Great Dixter put together by the Friends Office. The images, which illustrate the breadth and variety of Great Dixter, have come from the archive, staff, volunteers and students, as well as a few from people who just love the place.

In true Great Dixter fashion, it’s a bit different. Instead of the usual 12, there are 36 images, giving three options for each month.

Proceeds from the sale of the calendar will go towards funding scholarships for training gardeners of the future.

These tools are hand-forged in stainless steel by Sneeboer & Zn and are the best we have come across. This fork is part of a range especially designed by Great Dixter.

The fork version of the planting spade, allowing precision and control when you are on your hands and knees but greater leverage and power than a hand tool as a result of the length of the handle. The fork head enables you to weed in tight spaces whilst in a crouching position but can also be used to titivate the soil.
