We are a historic house and garden, formerly the home of Christopher Lloyd. For many years we have been a training ground for gardeners, who come to us to learn our traditional style of intensive flower gardening and become immersed in plants, gardening and the culture of sharing knowledge, through residential placements and courses. Since the Heritage Lottery project in 2010 we have also extended our reach to include the wider community through engagement with schools and local families. Our work is funded by entry tickets, courses, nursery and shop sales, and charitable grants and donations.
