Pre-booked tickets are no longer required. Please purchase tickets upon arrival from the kiosk. We ask that visitors to the House and Shop continue to wear face coverings and maintain a respectful social distance.
Opening times

The House & Gardens at Great Dixter are open to visitors, Friends and Annual Ticket holders, with day tickets available at the gate. Gardens open 11am to 5pm. The House 1pm to 4pm. We are closed on Mondays except on Bank Holidays.

The Nursery

The Nursery was started by Christopher Lloyd in 1954, specialising in plants he deemed garden-worthy. We remain a small, personal and professional nursery. We are open to customers every day from 9am-5pm.

Cafe

The Loggia cafe is open for a range of lunches, snacks, hot and cold drinks and cakes, all freshly cooked here at Dixter. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are available. Please inform staff if you have any special dietary requirements or allergies and they will endeavour to help.
Visit the Nursery

The nursery is open every day of the week, 9am to 4.30pm throughout the year, to everyone, not only visitors to Great Dixter House and Gardens. There is no entrance charge.
