We are pleased to be stocking these top quality, traditional French workers’ coats, manufactured for over 60 years by family business Le Laboureur in their factory in Digoin.

They are made from thick wool from the Ouessant variety of black sheep, are un-dyed and have not been treated with chemicals.

With three outer pockets and one inner pocket, branded buttons and internal Le Laboureur black and gold label. 

These woollen coats are natural brown in colour.

100% wool. This coat seems to suit every member of staff who has tried one on or purchased one!

The story of our very own Neil, the Great Dixter Cat, who escapes being a stray in war-torn Kabul, Afghanistan, to live at Great Dixter Garden. Written by Honey Moga, a mother of nine, this historic tale of a delightful female cat named for the courage she exhibited (Neil means ‘champion’ in Irish), this story also includes a fascinating history of the region. Moga spent the final days of her life enchanted by a cat she never met who lived thousands of miles away.
