This topped fleece is from sheep from nearby Romney Marsh and has been washed and carded and is ready to be spun into yarn or used for stuffing cushions and toys. It is not bleached or dyed.

The Romney sheep has the highest quality of fleece of any British native sheep and the fleeces have long, crimped staples which are easy to spin and soft enough for use in the production of clothing.
