Fergus Garrett Anniversary Fund

It has been an important year for Fergus and Great Dixter, Fergus was awarded the Victoria Medal of Honour by the Royal Horticultural Society and also marked his 25 years at Great Dixter. In honour of his tenure as Head Gardener for 25 years, the Fergus Garrett Anniversary Fund has been created. The fund’s purpose is to enable Fergus to undertake any venture or expense for the long-term good of the Trust.

Update:

The Fergus Garrett Anniversary Fund reached £68,855 by the closing date of 31st January 2020. The target of £50,000 has been exceeded. A wonderful response from the 151 donors from around the world.

Fergus was very touched by the generous amount given and will be letting donors know of his plans as the year progresses.
