The Art and Craft of Gardening at Great Dixter- Fully booked

 This course will be led by Edward Flint, Coralie Thomas and experienced members of the Dixter Garden and nursery teams including Fergus Garrett, Michael Wachter, Luke Senior and Michael Morphy. It will help attendees gain an understanding of what is happening in the garden and the specific tasks that are undertaken on a month by month basis. This will include tutorials, seminars, demonstrations and critical appraisal of the garden, as well as question and answer sessions.

Sessions take place once a month, based in the garden, nursery and education buildings. 

Attendees qualify for 1 year’s free entry into the garden for you and a friend and 10% off of plant sales in the Nursery (not online).

Cost of course £2080

Payments split into 3 terms.

Term 1 payment: £1000 (including non-refundable deposit) Please note that payment for term 1 guarantees your place on all 3 terms.

Terms 2 and 3 £540 (each)

Term Dates 2026-7

Term 1: Feb 4th, March 4th, April 1st,  May 6th

Term 2: June 3rd, July 1st, August 5th, September 2nd,  

Term 3: October 7th, November 4th, December 2nd, January 6th (2027)
