What’s on Wool Spinning Demonstration Heffle Fibres make garments and rugs from local fleece. We hand spin, knit, crochet and weave to create, mostly to our own designs, quality items which are sustainable and eco-friendly. We also dye yarn from British breeds using our own plant dyes. The dye plants are grown in our gardens and in the local countryside where we forage responsibly. Wendy and Lorraine look forward to meeting you in the Great Barn at Great Dixter on 25 and 26 May between 11am and 4pm to show you how we hand spin our yarn.
