One of the most telling red clematis with oblong, blunt-tipped sepals and vivid magenta shading. Late June-Sept. Deservedly a great favourite. Needs sun. 3.5m. H7.
Pruning - Cut all shoots hard back in February to early March to a strong pair of buds 1m or less above ground level.
