An exotic-looking perennial from the Himalayas with rosettes of broad green thistle like leaves from which come thick stems carrying whorls of white and pale pink tubular flowers. When pollinated the flower colour deepens to red resulting in a lovely variation throughout the spike. July/August. 1m. H6.
