Satsukibachi Unglazed
These pots are made by Denichi Pottery in Sasayama-city, Japan and are sourced for us by a knowledgable local buyer. They are made in the style of Tamba pottery, considered one of the six ancient kilns of Japan, which has roots reaching back to the early Kamakura period (1180‐1230).
This unglazed ‘Satsukibachi’ pot has a smokey patina and is available with or without saucer. The handmade nature of the pottery means each each pot is different.
