The Solar Garden

The largest, single area of bedding plants is in the Solar Garden, planted up with annuals, tender bedding plants, and biennials.

This section of the garden faces the house and the Oast houses provide eye catching backdrop to this ever-changing display.

Using bedding allows the garden team to be daring, experimenting with new combinations and new plants, if the combination doesn’t work, it can be swiftly remedied with a new selection of plants.

Often the bedding is changed at least three times a year, regular visitors look to the solar garden for inspiration knowing they will find something a little different.
